The strategy is to acquire and develop mine assets and processing facilities to produce materials that are essential for industrial uses including electronics and environmental technologies and for aerospace and defense applications.
Summary
Senior sales executives identify corporate client opportunities and secure relationships to achieve sales targets and maintain relationships for long-term success.
Responsibilities
- Identify sales prospects among corporate and governmental entities in the assigned geographic and industry segments
- Analyze client operations to identify sales approaches
- Establish contact with corporate prospects
- Maintain corporate relationships and secure re-orders
- Negotiate contracts including product specifications, pricing, banking arrangements and shipping on a global basis in conjunction with management
- Present sales strategies and budgets to management
- Document client interactions and orders
- Coordinate with the sales team and other departments
- Some domestic and/or international travel required
- Achieve sales targets
Skills / Qualifications
- Prior sales experience preferred
- Ability to establish and maintain corporate relationships
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office; experience with CRM preferred
- Ability to obtain securities / commodities licenses
- Knowledge of metals & mining and materials industries is an asset
- Language skills are an asset
- College degree

Salary: 75,000-100,000 + commission
